2020 Jet Setting Essentials

Updated: Feb 27

I've started my engines and I'm off and running to kickoff 2020. 5 cities to-date with

everything from client meetings and personal travel in between.

With all of this travel, there are a few things that are on my “must have” list to help keep me organized and sane throughout the process.

#1 Travel Light + Hands-Free - When rushing from one end of the airport to another, I always like to travel with a backpack that counts as my purse or carry on. This Baekgaard one is $118 and I love the blue color! The backpack comes in a durable canvas material with a front zipper pocket, two side pockets, and a rear zipper laptop sleeve (perfect for the working girl on the go!). The backpack is lightweight, holds all of my essentials, and is great for having my hands free.

#2 Stay Hydrated - While traveling, it is so important to stay hydrated! My girls and I all carry around Hydro Flask water bottles to stay hydrated when we’re on the go. The 40oz Wide Mouth w/ Straw Lid is an absolute favorite and fits perfectly in the Baekgaard side pocket! This water bottle stays cold for hours and is very lightweight. Added bonus - Hydro Flask offers a lifetime warranty and comes in an array of bright colors.

#3 Stay Connected - Between battling work calls, answering emails, and posting latest updates to Instagram while traveling, it’s no surprise that my phone was always dying until I discovered the HALO Portable Phone Charger Power Cube. A built-in wall plug and car charger that keeps my devices running with a serious 5000mAH battery. This little charger is just the right size for traveling and making sure that I don’t go a minute without being connected.

#4 Technology Must Haves - No work trip is complete without a few favorite Apple products. This iPad is lighter and easier to carry around than my laptop and the AirPods help cancel out noise while working on the plane.

#5 Avoid Germs + Stay Healthy - With a busy travel schedule ahead, hand sanitizer is my new best friend. There’s no time for myself (or the kiddos) to get sick! Stock up with travel sized bottles on Amazon. In my backpack you will also always find a bottle of Advil to help curb unexpected headaches.

#6 A Travel Must - Comfy shoes always win over heels. Skechers has stylish, yet comfortable selections that are perfect to wear casually while on the plane but can still be dressed up once I land.

January and February have both been an amazing start to 2020. From heading down to Hilton Head, South Carolina to attend the HGTV Dream Home with Cabinets To Go and out to Las Vegas for my first time at KBIS , I cannot wait to share the rest of my journey throughout the year with you!
