With cooler temperatures on the horizon, fall is the perfect time to make slight edits throughout the home. I’ve been thinking back on several 2019 home design trends and determining which ones I think are here to last.
If you’re not set on a particular trend, you can always tweak the trend to fit your personal lifestyle - the end goal is creating a space that you’ll love, not hate! Being able to incorporate trends here and there throughout a classically designed home will yield a home design that you’ll still love down the road in several years.
Luxe Lucite - One of the easiest ways to transform an ordinary space with a touch of modern glam is incorporating lucite. Lucite is beautifully crisp and clear, and the material is the perfect addition to furniture and home accessories.
Bold Contrasts - Wallpaper has been making a strong comeback, especially in small spaces. The powder room is a seemingly perfect place to play with this trend - mixing and matching colors, prints, metals, and pattern in unexpected ways.
Paint It! - Gone are the days of painting trim in neutral colors. Why not go bold with a paint color that will create a contrast with your wall?
Here’s a “sneak peak” to a project I’m currently working on and cannot wait to share more details with you.
Traditional White Kitchens - Love it, or hate it a traditional white kitchen has a timeless appeal. My personal take on an all white kitchen - an all neutral kitchen with soft hues that create varying interests and contrasts.
